United Initiatives for Peace is endorsing its latest ambition: COURT QUEST.

Court Quest is a global initiative to build basketball courts in high need communities as a means to promote youth sports, character development and higher education.

Court Quest aspires to serve international communities by offering a positive recreational source
through which a greater hope and higher purpose can be manifested for future generations.

SCHOLARS FOR BALLERS

On Saturday, August 23rd, 2008, UIP will be hosting a college scholarship 3-on-3 girls' basketball tournament, Scholars for Ballers, in Newark, NJ.

The purpose of this tournament is to provide a safe and positive environment for Newark high school girls, while encouraging higher education by providing an alternative means to earn college scholarship funds.

Newark's children are at risk of losing the opportunity to fully participate in a knowledge-based global economy. With your support, we can assist Newark, NJ in fulfilling its goal to become the national standard of urban transformation. It is only through empowering its youth and families that this ideal will be realized.

UIP Launches New Website

Well....... It was finally time to dive into the 21st century and get a website up and running. Turns out that folks are not real big on calling and writing letters these days and since we aim to please, we give the people what they want.
